We focus on creating community
We are passionate about teenagers encountering God, making friends, growing together, and making a difference
Our Vision For Teens
We are creating next-generation leaders and world-changers.
This is a unique time in life where young people develop in key areas of their identity. Our program works specifically with this age group to help them where they are. Kids will have fun as they hang out with great people and learn what God says about them.
In this transistional time, students need to have great guidance to help them navigate the unique challenges they face. We provide teaching from the Bible to serve as a north start for making decisions that will shape the future.
Relationships are a critical part of the lives of teenagers. We provide great environments where kids can come together to meet other kids. Adults serve as mentors to connect students with Biblical truth and help them apply it to their specific situations. Our desire is to partner with parents to help teenagers thrive as they transition into becoming adults.
Kingdom Kids/Youth Ministry
It is vitally important, and our responsibility, to provide our children with a solid foundation in the Word of God. At Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, that foundation is built throughout each age level. Children are exposed to and taught the Word, beginning at the earliest age possible. Part of the vision of the children’s ministry is to equip the children To go forth in the world as leaders, thoroughly established in the Word of God.
Building up, training and strengthening believers in Jesus Christ
Celebrating God’s presence, honoring him with one’s lifestyle. Focused time of turning attention to God and magnifying him. Being living sacrifices.
Sharing the “Good News” with those who do not know Jesus. Fulfilling the Great Commission by being a witness.
Coming together as believers to rejoice, encourage each other and to be a Church family.
Beginning to venture outside one’s own needs to meet the needs of others.
Exhibiting the love of Christ. Exercising spiritual gifts.
